When I Say, "I Am A Christian - A Follower of Jesus Christ...": What Does it Mean?

When I Say, "I AM A CHRISTIAN..." When I say, "I Am A Christian - A Follower of Jesus Christ" ... I am not screaming that I am HOLY! - I am only whispering that I was lost and now I am found and forgiven. When I say, "I Am A Christian" ... I am not saying this with pride. I am only confessing that I slip and I am a sinner and I need Christ to guide me. When I say, "I Am A Christian" ... I am not trying to be strong. I only confess that I am weak and to continue my life I need His Power. When I say, "I Am A Christian" ... I am not proud of my achievements. I only accept that I have failed and need God to fix my life and my wrong doings. When I say, "I Am A Christian" ... I am not claiming to be perfect. My weaknesses and failures are obvious, but God values me. When I say, "I Am A Christian" ... I am not immune to pain and suffering. I have my share of pain and suffering, so I trust in His Name. When I say, "I Am A Christian" ... I am not saying I am holier than you. I am nothing but a sinner who has received the Grace of God - His forgiveness through Jesus Christ. "

When I say I am a follower of Jesus Christ, what I mean is: I have been bought with a price, I belong to God - 1 Cor. 6:19-20 I have a Father who loves me - Psalm 27:9 I am God's work of art (workmanship) - Eph 2:10 I am God's friend - John 15:12-17 I am God's Child - John 1:12-13 Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. Children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. I am Accepted as I am - Romans 15:7 I have direct access to God - Eph 2:17-18 I am secure - Prov. 3:19-26 I am Free forever from condemnation - Tom. 8:12 I am assured that All things work together for good - Rom. 8:28-30 I can not be separated from the Love of God - Rom. 8:35-39 I am confident that the good work God has begun in me will continue - Phil 1:6 I am a citizen of heaven - Phil 3:20 I am born of God and the evil one can not touch me - 1 John 5:18-20 I am Significant - 1 Cor. 3:9; 4:1-2 I am useful to God - 1Cor 12 I am extravagantly loved by God - John 3:16-17; 1 John 3:1 God  IS  Love ... خداوند محبّت است Why Am I a Christian??
